The home team had come away the winner the last six times Scio and Colton had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Loggers came up short against the Vikings on Thursday, falling 12-6. The loss continues a trend for the Loggers in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost six in a row.

Carter Flack put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. Flack was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Flack wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Davis, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. Those stolen bases were Davis' first of the season.

The Loggers are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Colton, they will take on St. Paul at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Vikings their first taste of in-conference action this season.
