Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northland Christian). They had just enough and edged out the St. Francis Episcopal Wolves 4-3. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Northland Christian got a great performance from Luke Edmonds as he struck out 15 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Those 15 strikeouts gave Edmonds a new career-high.
