After a string of seven wins, Sedgwick's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the Bennington Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Sedgwick started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-15, 26-24.

Sedgwick's loss dropped their record down to 29-11. As for Bennington, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-7 record this season.

Sedgwick does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bennington, they will take on Inman on Saturday.
