After a string of seven wins, Sedgwick's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the Bennington Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

While Sedgwick ultimately came up short, they really made Bennington work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-15, 26-24.

Sedgwick's loss dropped their record down to 29-11. As for Bennington, their victory was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 33-7.

Sedgwick has already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against Hillsboro on the 25th. As for Bennington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Inman on the 25th.
