Football Game Preview: Asotin vs. Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna/Kahlotus

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna/Kahlotus have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with Asotin at 7:00 PM . Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna/Kahlotus are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.

Things haven't been easy for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna/Kahlotus, and their contest two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to three. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 15-36 walloping at Liberty's hands.

Meanwhile, Asotin put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They made easy work of Liberty and carried off a 28-0 win. The Asotin offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the matchup anyway.

Asotin's victory lifted them to 6-2 while Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna/Kahlotus's defeat dropped them down to 2-5. In their victory, Asotin relied heavily on senior Josh Wilkinson, who passed for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns. Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna/Kahlotus will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
