Baseball Recap: George-Little Rock Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for George-Little Rock's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union Royals on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Royals this season, with their most recent defeat being a 21-2 loss last Monday.

George-Little Rock has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

George-Little Rock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union, they will face off against Gehlen Catholic on Saturday.
