Volleyball Recap: Salinas Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Salinas came tearing into Wednesday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Monte Vista Christian Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on October 6th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 25-20.

Salinas was led to victory by Natalie Lopez and Ariana Devers. Lopez had 17 digs and two aces, while Devers had eight digs and three aces. Devers is also on a roll when it comes to hitting percentage, as she's posted one of at least 75% in the last 13 games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Salinas was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matchups.

Salinas' record now sits at 23-6. As for Monte Vista Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-21.

As of now, neither Salinas nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
