Softball Recap: Marksville Takes a Loss

Marksville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Sterlington Panthers, falling 14-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 13-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2021.

Marksville now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Sterlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

While Marksville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
