Basketball Recap: Cristo Rey Jesuit Takes a Loss

Cristo Rey Jesuit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 41-20 to the Holy Trinity Tigers. The Cristeros were down 37-15 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Cristo Rey Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Holy Trinity, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-4.

Cristo Rey Jesuit didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 23-17 victory against Golder on the 17th. As for Holy Trinity, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Our Lady of Tepeyac at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th.
