Volleyball Recap: Russell Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Russell waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Butte Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Rustlers' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

While Russell might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Butte scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19.

Russell's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Butte, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-15.

Russell will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bozeman at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Butte, they have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Gallatin at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday.
