Volleyball Recap: Washington County Comes Up Short on the Road Against Pamlico County + How To Watch

Washington County had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Pamlico County Hurricanes on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-18, 25-4.

Dakota Schmidt had an outrageously good game for Pamlico County as she had 11 aces and one block. Those 11 aces gave Schmidt a new career-high.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4.

When Washington County and Pamlico County next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Panthers will face off against Gates County and their four-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Pamlico County will try to stop Holmes' six-game winning streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
