Volleyball Recap: Ada Wins Going Away Against Vanlue

Ada had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Vanlue on Monday. The Bulldogs blew past the Wildcats 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Alyssa Madison, who had 11 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. Alivia Gibson also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Ada was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Ada's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Vanlue, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Ada wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against McComb on the 10th. Vanlue has also already played their next match (against Elmwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
