Baseball Recap: Grayson Christian Starts off Right with Win over Savoy

Grayson Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They never let the Savoy Cardinals get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. Grayson Christian has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Savoy, too.

Rodey Fincher made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Fincher was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

In other batting news, Ryan Taylor was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Jacob Earles was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Grayson Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against Savoy: the pair will be back at it again later today.
