Basketball Recap: Johnson's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Johnson's tournament run continued when they took on Savannah Classical Academy on Saturday. The Johnson Atomsmashers came out on top against the Savannah Classical Academy Spartans by a score of 51-42.

Johnson's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7. As for Savannah Classical Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

Johnson will take on Pickens in a tournament on December 30th. Pickens knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Johnson likes a good challenge. As for Savannah Classical Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
