Bartram Trail extended their road winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Kaila Pierce. Bartram Trail snuck past the Sandalwood Saints with a 27-21 victory on Wednesday thanks in part to Pierce, who threw for 251 yards and four touchdowns while completing 84.8% of her passes. She is becoming a predictor of Bartram Trail's success: when she posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 3-4 when she doesn't).

Bartram Trail's leading receiver Lily Holden was Pierce's top target yet again, picking up 102 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Holden also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making three total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Bartram Trail is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.3 points on average over those games. The loss snapped Sandalwood's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

Bartram Trail didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 20-0 victory against Mandarin on the 28th. As for Sandalwood, they will challenge Raines at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
