Jackson came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Midtown, but Zuri Mesquitte wouldn't allow it. The Midtown Knights skirted past the Jackson Jaguars 64-62 thanks in part to Mesquitte, who went 8-for-15 on his way to 19 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Midtown's record is now 16-10. As for Jackson, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-7 record this season.

Midtown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jackson, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Jaguars duke it out with the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
