Rockridge won the last time they faced Monmouth-Roseville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rockets never let the Titans get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. Considering the Rockets have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Tatum Lowe was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Emilee Black was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Rockridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Monmouth-Roseville only posted an OBP of .200.

Rockridge's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Monmouth-Roseville, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Rockridge will square off against Kewanee at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Boilermakers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Monmouth-Roseville, they will challenge Erie-Prophetstown at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
