Volleyball Recap: Franklin's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six + How To Watch

Franklin had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Page Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 3rd.

While Franklin might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Page scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-23, 19-25, 25-19.

Ellyson Fogle paced Franklin's offense, picking up 15 kills. Fogle got some help from Emerson Garner and her 42 assists. Finally, Brynn Pennington kept Franklin's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

When it comes to explaining why Page lost, don't look at Hannah Rider. Despite the final result, she had 22 digs and one assist. Rider is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Page, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9.
