Basketball Game Preview: Toronto Red Knights vs. Buckeye Local Panthers

The Toronto Red Knights will square off against the Buckeye Local Panthers at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Buckeye Local is facing Toronto at the wrong time: Toronto suffered their first home loss of the season on Friday and they're likely out for redemption. They fell to the Redskins 47-41. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Red Knights came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 320th, while the Redskins are ranked 644th).

Meanwhile, Buckeye Local was beaten by Union Local 66-22 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Jets: they've now lost three in a row.

Toronto's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3. As for Buckeye Local, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
