Newell won the last time they faced Dupree and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Irrigators came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Irrigators.

Newell had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 24-26, 25-18, 25-23, 15-10.

Newell's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Dupree, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Newell will face off against Harding County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dupree, they will head out to face off against Flandreau Indian at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
