Pecos' defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Monahans, their loss dropped their record down to 1-17.

Everything came up roses for Monahans against Pecos when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 66-38 victory. Will Monahans repeat their success, or does Pecos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
