Soccer Recap: West Johnston Takes a Loss

West Johnston lost against Corinth Holders back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 6-1 to the Pirates. Things were pretty much settled by the half as West Johnston were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Yair Ayala, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for West Johnston and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Corinth Holders, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Johnston will host Sanderson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Corinth Holders, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Garner at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
