Basketball Recap: Beaver Takes a Loss

After flying high against Intermountain Christian on Saturday, Beaver came back down to earth. The Beavers took a 65-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Piute Thunderbirds on Tuesday. The Beavers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunderbirds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Beaver dropped their record down to 2-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Piute, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Coincidentally, Beaver and Piute will both be playing North Sevier the next time they take the court. The Beavers will host the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on December 3, while the Thunderbirds will host them at 7:00 p.m. on December 4.
