After losing to Capital the last time they met, Peninsula decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Seahawks pulled ahead with a 10-9 photo finish over the Cougars on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Seahawks.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Peninsula's defense and their four sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Adian Muilenberg, Royal Charles, and Ryan McCurrie, who each picked up one sack apiece.

The win got Peninsula back to even at 2-2. As for Capital, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Peninsula will host North Thurston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Seahawks will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Capital, they will head out on the road to square off against Timberline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
