Recap: Lake George Lakers vs. Whitehall Railroaders
The Lake George Lakers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their seventh straight defeat. They were outmatched by Whitehall on the road and fell 56-22. Lake George has not had much luck with Whitehall recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Lake George's loss came despite strong showings from Madyson Brennan and Angelina Minnear. Brennan scored ten points along with two blocks, while Minnear scored five points along with seven rebounds.
Lake George's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.7 points per game. As for Whitehall, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
Lake George does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Whitehall, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Stillwater at 7:00 p.m. Stillwater has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
