Soccer Game Preview: Hall vs. Lewis Mills

The Hall Titans will challenge the Lewis Mills Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hall will be strutting in after a victory while Lewis Mills will be coming in after a defeat.

Hall is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Northwest Catholic on Wednesday as they made off with an 8-1 win. The result kept Hall happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 8th.

Meanwhile, Lewis Mills entered their matchup against Farmington on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Spartans fell just short of the River Hawks by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Lewis Mills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Farmington are ranked third).

Hall has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-1-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those eight contests. As for Lewis Mills, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1.

Everything went Hall's way against Lewis Mills when the teams last played back in October of 2019, as Hall made off with a 6-0 win. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
