Soccer Game Preview: Laguna Hills vs. Katella

The Laguna Hills Hawks will square off against the Katella Knights at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Laguna Hills is headed into the match having not lost since December 27 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Buena Park finished up their game with a 2-2 draw on Monday.

Meanwhile, Katella entered their tilt with Garden Grove on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Argonauts by a score of 4-2. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 236th, while the Argonauts are ranked 587th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

With that draw, Laguna Hills' record moves to 9-3-3. As for Katella, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-6 record this season.
