Soccer Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to six goals the game before, Mt. Pleasant was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 5-1 to the Johnston Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mt. Pleasant of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Joshua Ortiz, who's now up to three this season.

Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Johnston, their record is now 10-4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Pleasant will take on rival Blackstone Valley Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Johnston is set to square off against their familiar foe Burrillville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
