Hermitage took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Henrico with a sharp 12-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won six in a row.

Conner Wharton made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out 14 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). Those 14 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Ryder Baggett and Adrian Hernandez did most of the damage at the plate: Baggett went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Hernandez went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave Hernandez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hayden Harris, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Hermitage kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, J.R. Tucker can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand John Marshall an 8-0 shutout.
The team relied heavily on Yamal Ferguson, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. Walker Perkins was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Hermitage's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for J.R. Tucker, their victory bumped their record up to 5-14.
