Baseball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Saint Stephen's Episcopal

While Saint Stephen's Episcopal's win against Booker wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Booker Tornadoes on Thursday, sneaking past 8-7. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Tornadoes: they've now won five in a row.

Jackson McLeod made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 5.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. McLeod was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.

In other batting news, Jackson Riffe was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Gabriel Conn was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple.
