Baseball Game Preview: Columbia Roughnecks vs. Brazosport Exporters

The Columbia Roughnecks are taking a road trip to take on the Brazosport Exporters at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Columbia fell victim to Needville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 2-0. The Roughnecks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Brazosport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to Needville. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Exporters have suffered against the Bluejays since April 12, 2016.

Brazosport's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Columbia, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-12-2.
