Recap: Sunset Bison vs. Hillcrest Panthers
The Sunset Bison suffered their biggest loss since December 8, 2023 on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 80-23 loss at the hands of Hillcrest. Sunset has not had much luck with Hillcrest recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Hillcrest's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jed-ethan Nansha, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Laterrance Potter, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Sunset's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Hillcrest, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-12.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Molina the next time they take the court. Sunset will head out to face Molina at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Hillcrest will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
