Soccer Game Preview: Corsicana vs. Crandall

The Corsicana Tigers will take on the Crandall Pirates at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Crandall will be up against a hot Corsicana team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. Corsicana had just enough and edged Seguin out 4-3. The Tigers found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: Eric Medina and Antony Herrera were both handed yellow cards.

Corsicana hit Seguin with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rodrigo Hernandez, Giancarlo Zuniga, Rayden Hernandez, and Chris Velasquez.

Meanwhile, Crandall kept a clean sheet against Royse City on Tuesday. They beat the Bulldogs by a goal, winning 1-0. That's two games straight that the Pirates have won by just one goal.

The win made it two in a row for Crandall and bumps their season record up to 3-1-3. As for Corsicana, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
