Peoria Notre Dame came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Brimfield Indians. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Irish also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Peoria Notre Dame got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 20-25, 26-24.

Peoria Notre Dame's victory bumped their record up to 20-12. As for Brimfield, they moved to 17-7 with that loss, which also ended their eight-match winning streak.

Peoria Notre Dame and Brimfield should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings.
