Softball Recap: Mosley Comes Up Short

Mosley couldn't beat Destin on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Dolphins came up short against the Sharks, falling 25-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sharks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-4 back in February.

Zoe Tidwell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Mosley has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Destin, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mosley will square off against Bozeman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Destin, they will challenge Freeport at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.92 runs per game on average), something the Sharks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
