Soccer Recap: Woonsocket Takes a Loss

If Woonsocket was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Mt. Pleasant on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Villa Novans came up short against the Shea Raiders on Wednesday, falling 4-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Shea this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in September.

Woonsocket's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Shea, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Woonsocket has already played their next matchup, a 4-1 defeat against Tolman on the 22nd. Shea does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
