Football Game Preview: Chavez Titans vs. Weston Ranch Cougars + How To Watch

After each having a week off, the Chavez Titans and the Weston Ranch Cougars will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Chavez has seven straight wins, Weston Ranch has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Chavez's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They claimed a resounding 63-0 victory over West. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won four games by 28 points or more so far this season.

Joel Donnell produced another solid performance rushing for 180 yards and three scores on only eight carries, while also catching one TD. Another player making a difference was Elijah Walker, who threw for 324 yards and four touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Chavez was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 287 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Weston Ranch's offense. They had to suffer through a 45-0 loss at the hands of McNair.

Weston Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Chavez, their record now sits at 7-0.

Everything came up roses for Chavez against Weston Ranch in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 41-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
