Volleyball Recap: Sunnyside Comes Up Short

Sunnyside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Desert View Jaguars. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Sunnyside's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Desert View, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunnyside will take on Tucson High Magnet School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Desert View, they will face off against Salpointe Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
