Volleyball Game Preview: Latin Romans vs. Timothy Christian Trojans

The Latin Romans will challenge the Timothy Christian Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Latin is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Oak Park-River Forest just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Huskies.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Timothy Christian also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Willowbrook by a score of 2-0.

Timothy Christian was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22.

Timothy Christian's loss dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Latin, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.
