With a playoff win on the line, Brunswick Academy rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 36-27 victory over the Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights. The win was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Despite the defeat, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Molly Hamner posted nine points and seven boards. Hamner is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Brunswick Academy's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Brunswick Academy has already played their next match, a 31-28 win against Southampton Academy on the 22nd. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, they will face off against Wakefield School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wakefield School's defense has only allowed 20.2 points per game this season, so Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's offense will have their work cut out for them.
