Baseball Recap: Welch Comes Up Short

Welch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Wyandotte Bears, falling 15-3. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Welch's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Welch Wildcats face off against South Coffeyville Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wyandotte, they will square off against Dewey at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
