Basketball Recap: Burr & Burton Falls Short of Fair Haven in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Burr & Burton can now relate to. They lost 52-26 to the Fair Haven Slaters on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Slaters this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-23 back in February.

Burr & Burton has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. Fair Haven is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Burr & Burton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fair Haven, they will square off against Brattleboro at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
