Basketball Recap: Dawson Takes a Loss

Dawson lost against Shadow Creek back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Dawson Eagles were outmatched by the Shadow Creek Sharks and fell 80-44. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Dawson's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-14. As for Shadow Creek, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-2.

Dawson will challenge Pearland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in Pearland's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Dawson has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. Shadow Creek has already played their next game (against Dobie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
