Basketball Recap: Thales Academy Flowers Plantation Takes a Loss

Thales Academy Flowers Plantation extended their losing streak to four on Monday, dropping them down to 1-4. They were beaten by the East Wake Academy Eagles 59-21. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-32 last Tuesday.

As for East Wake Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. That looming 59-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

KJ Nicholson produced another solid effort putting up 25 points. The contest was his third in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Obe, who posted eight points.

Coming up, Thales Academy Flowers Plantation is taking a road trip to take on Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Wake Academy, they will welcome American Leadership Academy-Johnston at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
