Game recap: Glades Day High School Football Team wins against Oxbridge Academy

BELLE GLADE, Fla. - the Gators scored 21 points in the first quarter to secure a big 35-7 victory over Oxbridge Academy (West Palm Beach, Fla.) on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, Glades Day was up 21-7 at the half.

GD expanded its lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. The Belle Glade school's lone score in the quarter came on a rushing touchdown.



Oxbridge Academy's only touchdown came on a 35-yard run by Cade Socha in the second quarter.

The defeat comes as a step back for Oxbridge Academy, who notched a 17-7 victory over Spanish River in its previous outing.
