Victor Valley had to endure a ten-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Lancaster Eagles by a score of 7-2 on Saturday. The Jackrabbits' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Tyler Aguilar spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Matthew Yepez, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emilio Sbolci, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-12. As for Lancaster, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-10.

Victor Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-0 victory against Barstow on the 16th. As for Lancaster, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-5 win against Knight on the 16th.
