Lake Travis lost against Westlake back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lake Travis Cavaliers lost 3-0 to the Westlake Chaparrals. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Chaparrals recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

While Lake Travis had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-18.

Lake Travis' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-18. As for Westlake, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Akins the next time they take the court. Westlake will host Akins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Lake Travis will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
