Soccer Game Preview: Dobyns-Bennett vs. Oak Ridge

The Dobyns-Bennett Indians will challenge the Oak Ridge Wildcats at 11:20 a.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Dobyns-Bennett is headed into the game without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They and Davidson finished up their match with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

Dobyns-Bennett's goal came courtesy of Lucas Park, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Oak Ridge challenged Pigeon Forge on Thursday. Oak Ridge took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pigeon Forge.

Dobyns-Bennett's draw gives them a new season record of 3-0-2. As for Oak Ridge, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.

Dobyns-Bennett couldn't quite get it done against Oak Ridge in their previous matchup back in April of 2017 as they fell 4-2. Can Dobyns-Bennett avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
