After a string of eight wins, Glencoe-Silver Lake's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They had to suffer through a 85-53 loss at the hands of the Waseca Bluejays. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Glencoe-Silver Lake's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 11-3. As for Waseca, the win keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glencoe-Silver Lake won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Rockford at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Rockford's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Waseca, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Sibley East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waseca knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 contests -- so hopefully Sibley East likes a good challenge.
