Trinidad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-9 to the Sanford Mustangs. On the bright side, the nine- run performance marked the Miners' highest-scoring game to date.

Trinidad's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Sanford, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-5.

Coming up, Trinidad will square off against South Park at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sanford, they will venture away from home to challenge Ignacio at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups.
